It's hard to believe but my husband John & I will be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary on Jan 26th - wow where do the years go?! We met when I was 13 and he was 17, I knew he wouldn't ask me out if he knew how old I was so I fibbed (oopsie) and told him I was 15. About a year or so later he enlisted in the ARMY and and asked me to wait for him (yep ours is a Nicolas Sparks novel). But after an almost two year engagement we couldn't wait any longer and we got married (I was 17 and he 21). And here we are 30+ years later still best friends and eternal soul mates. There is no greater gift in my life than John, he is the most honorable person I have ever known and is a real life prince charming. I thank God every day for bringing us together.
