Deborah the Bumble Bee

I did an emboss resist technique using a chicken wire background stamp and "washed" on my honey ink colors using an aqua painter.  My name Deborah means BEE in Hebrew and I semi-collect bee stuff..well at least bumble bee rubber stamps that is and these Paper Smooches ones are some of my favs ;o)

Is is Fall yet?!

This owl just cracks me up, I colored him using a waterbrush/aqua painter and reinkers.  after I colored him I also used white acrylic paint to really whiten his eyes.  Even though it's still one million degrees here in SW Florida I thought a September 1st posting should be at least somewhat Fall(ish).
