Copper Halloween Bottles Quick Tutorial:
- Die cut bottles from watercolor paper using the Peculiar Potions die
- Use a paint brush and copper peerless watercolors to coat each die cut
- Use heat tool to speed up drying time
- Add additional coats of copper until you achieve the desired saturation for each bottle
- For the darkest bottle I used a sponge dauber and really globbed on the paint then overheated it to make the paint bubble up for added texture
- Stamp images, color with markers etc., as your last step
I also added faux brads/nail heads on the sentiment panel using the copper paint too. You can see a quick tutorial on that here: http://amped2stamp.blogspot.com/2014/09/fox-hole-and-faux-brads.html.
