Halloween Shadow Box Frame

My peeps got to make this spooktacular Halloween shadow box frame along with a vintage label pillow box favor (posting tomorrow).  We had so much fun, lots of giggles were definitely going around...thanks to everyone for being so into the spirit of things - spirit get it?!
The spooky sweet "bottle" is the a muse studio ticket stub die just cut a little past the perforation line.  I came up with the idea while in search for what I could use to make an apothecary bottle....Eeeeeeheeehehee!

BOO Ghoul!

...and his cutie patootie polka dot pumpkin :o).
Quick Tip: To make the fence I used the wood plank paper from the Mysterious Manor patterned paper pack and with the corner of a square punch I simply notched out the the "fence posts".

Peculiar Halloween Bottles

Copper Halloween Bottles Quick Tutorial:
  • Die cut bottles from watercolor paper using the Peculiar Potions die
  • Use a paint brush and copper peerless watercolors to coat each die cut
  • Use heat tool to speed up drying time
  • Add additional coats of copper until you achieve the desired saturation for each bottle
  • For the darkest bottle I used a sponge dauber and really globbed on the paint then overheated it to make the paint bubble up for added texture
  • Stamp images, color with markers etc., as your last step
I also added faux brads/nail heads on the sentiment panel using the copper paint too. You can see a quick tutorial on that here: http://amped2stamp.blogspot.com/2014/09/fox-hole-and-faux-brads.html.

Eek! Wicked Web

For this creepy crawly card I used the left over negative pieces from the "k" and the "e" of the "eek" die to make the exclamation point.
Quick Tip:  When trying to glue on tiny pieces it's much easier to put your glue directly onto the card where you want the pieces to go rather than trying to put the glue onto the back of the tiny pieces.

Wicked Web Halloween Wreath

I think it was Kristine V. that first posted a wreath made with the a muse studio mini blooms stamp set.  So of course I had to make a Halloween version for myself.  As you can see I purposely was more haphazard with the wreath giving it more of a dead twig Halloween feel...at least that's what I hope it conveys.  And as an added bonus this card qualifies as a Halloccasions card too - Eeeeeeheeheehe!

All products are Amuse Studio unless otherwise noted.
Stamps: Mini Blooms, Wicked Web
Ink: Seattle, Stazon Black, Orange
Paper: Orange, Sugar
Dies: Mini Bow
Schtuff: Seattle Crepe Paper, Glue Pen, Black Glitter
