Please visit my new blog here: www.Amped2Stamp.com
Hey there my stamping peeps, sorry I haven't been here for a while. There have been many things in the works over the past few months and I'll be debuting a new blog sometime soon. I'm aiming for sometime in May. So stay tuned.
Also my wonderful hubby John has been teaching me a little about photography and it obvious compared to his mad skills (immediately below) that my, ummm "skills" (every other blog photo) have a lot to be desired. But bare with me while I practice and I promise I'll have some exciting news and all-new projects (and photos) on my new blog to share with you later this summer.
I'll keep this post at the top of my blog and in the meantime happy stamping!
Love and hugs,
Deb
This is an old SU! set called Dream Garden, which I'm kicking myself for giving away - LOL!

Zentangle
This is my first (and possibly my last) attempt at Zentangle, yikes, this took a really long time BUT it was kind of fun! I can see how it may become addicting or at least something to do while talking on the phone ;o). Below is the stamped image before and after I colored with Copic markers and then did my doodling using a Copic multiliner. You can read more about Zentangle here: https://www.zentangle.com/

Hodgepodge Valentine
This is one of my "hodgepodge" cards which is basically just leftover pieces from other projects that were left on my desk. I kind of like how it turned out and it's good timing for a Valentine card post. <3 Happy Valentine's Day!
Quick Tip Tutorial: I punched the hearts out of real red cardstock then I colored them with copic markers and added some white dots and dashes for highlights.

Inky Fishy Friends?
This is an old SU! set called Fishy Friends and each image is just cuter than the next. I originally had a different sentiment on it which was, "Inking of you" then I realized ummm, DER, this is a jelly fish not an octopus!
Quick Tip Tutorial: to get the inky background I used an old piece of mesh screen and dabbed versamark onto watercolor paper and embossed with clear embossing powder. Then I wet the water color paper and used SU reinkers and just randomly smooched on a couple of colors with a paintbrush. Here again the technique would have been perfect for an octopus (DER) not so much for a jelly fish.

HAPPY CHANUKAH
I've often wished that stamp companies would include both spellings of the holiday in their sets. It seems they almost always only give the more common option of "Hanukkah" but some people prefer the more traditional spelling "Chanukah". Regardless of the spelling this is a beautiful holiday that honors God's miracles...HAPPY Chanukah/Hanukkah everyone...ENJOY!

Fancy Favor Spider Box
If the Bigz Box #2 is my favorite SU! box then the Fancy Favor box runs a close second. This was one of the door prizes at my 2011 Halloween stamping party. This is the first year in 10 that I haven't had a Halloween party...I'm getting a little sad :(.

If anyone knows, please add a comment or email me and I'll update this post giving credit for this KILLER card! I just had to make one for myself and I'm now kicking myself for selling the stamp set(s)!

The Most Wonderful Tome of the Year!
October is here - YAY! My favorite month and holiday are approaching but I'm a bit bummed out because I can't decorate my house the way I usually do. This year I have TWO puppies, a 7 month old & and 8 month old and while the 7 month old is a good girl the 8 month old is a TOTAL TERROR!! I wouldn't be a happy haunter if my decorations were destroyed. Likewise since I've been a busy ghoul with my new Ava Anderson Non Toxic business I haven't had time to make my usual variety of Halloween paper projects. So for this year I will post some things from the past few years, before I had a blog and that I haven't posted before. So while they are old to me, hopefully you enjoy them as new to you. HaPpY FaLL YaLL and HaPpY HaLLoWEeN!
All materials used for this project are SU!

Is is Fall yet?!
This owl just cracks me up, I colored him using a waterbrush/aqua painter and reinkers. after I colored him I also used white acrylic paint to really whiten his eyes. Even though it's still one million degrees here in SW Florida I thought a September 1st posting should be at least somewhat Fall(ish).

Resigning from a muse studio
Hey there everyone, I’m blogging today to tell you that I'm
resigning from a muse studio and have found an amazing non-stamping company to
work for (more on that in a moment :o). I've been a stamper for, well,
pretty much ever and rest assured I'm certainly not stopping my all-time
favorite hobby! So stay tuned because I will be continuing with my
amped2stamp blog and posting cards made with lots of different stamping
products YAY! I'll also put in one last a muse order on 9/15/15 if anyone wants to order from the current catalog and/or the holiday catalog just let me know.
Now to tell you
about my new position as an Ava Anderson Non-Toxic consultant. I'm SO
OVER THE TOP excited about this line of products I want to share it with
everyone! For those of you who don't know me I'm a skeptical, analytical person
who has severe allergies and sensitivities and I have to read labels and be
cautious with anything I put on or in my body. I had absolutely NO
intention of signing up to be an Ava consultant when I went to my friend’s
avaHOUR and really I had no intention of buying anything because I figured the
products would just be more of the same toxic stuff everyone else has and I
would have a reaction to it.
EDIT: effective as of March 2016 Ava Anderson Non-Toxic is now PUREhaven Essentials. Ava Anderson was sold but the only thing that has changed is the name, it's STILL top quality, all non-toxic ingredients and we have lots of new products now too! YAY!

Well let me tell
ya, after hearing the educational presentation (and I consider myself an
informed consumer) I learned so many things! Then I started reading the
ingredients on the products and knew they were safe for me to smell and test
while I was there. I was so happy and relieved because I had ZERO
reactions WHAAAT?! So I placed my order, went home and did EXTENSIVE
research on the company and their mission and ended up signing
up to be a consultant.
I held my first
avaHOUR and knew immediately this is what I'm supposed to be doing! I'm so
thankful to my friend Terri who invited me to her avaHOUR and that I went - snort! I truly
believe that I can make a difference in people's lives with these products and
to help you make healthier choices about what you put on your bodies and use in
your homes every day.
Please take a look
at my PUREhaven website and be sure to click on the
informational tabs at the top, there's a lot of valuable information available to you. And after you look around I welcome your comments and want to hear your thoughts. Please try these products for yourself
and your family and see just how effective and amazing they are. Once you've done that I know you'll
want to spread the word and book your own avaHOUR with me so you can experience
what I did for yourself (you don’t have to be local, we can do virtual
avaHOURs!). And better yet, do your own research and then sign up to be on my
team...I want to build an Ava ARMY of Toxic AVAengers! Please let me know
if you have any questions, I want to spread this health message and help
everyone that I can.
Non-Toxic,
stamping hugs,
Deb
