Beautiful Birthday 2

As promised here is another "look" for the Beautiful Birthday set.  I did a lot of sponging on this card to make a kind of stormy sky with Eucalyptus ink. The greenery stamp was inked first entirely with Grass ink then I sponged on a little Mushroom and Nutmeg pouncing those two colors here and there.  Then I finished with a little Nutmeg ink sponged along the bottom.  Any one who knows me knows that sponging is one of my all-time favorite techniques.
All products are Amuse Studio unless otherwise noted.

You're Too Kind

There are several different sentiments in the "You're Too Kind" stamp set and the bird image is just beautiful too (I used that on the inside).  For the card below I coupled the "you're too kind" sentiment with the "Making a Difference" flowers & leaves images (that set has some great sentiments too...also used on the inside). This card could easily become a get well or sympathy card just by changing the sentiment. Oh and I think it's neat how the Seattle Baker's Cording kind of picks up the amethyst color too what do you think?...

Stamps: You're Too Kind, Making a Difference
Ink: Amethyst, Blackberry, Stazon Black
Paper: Blackberry, Amethyst, Sugar

Sunny Side of Life

Stamping with Versamark and adding shimmer chalks on top with a sponge dauber gives such a soft, pretty effect. And it's an easy way to add multiple colors to an image (works best with a solid images).  I stamped the sun with our Lemon Whip ink; Amuse chalk inks are a perfect compliment to the softness of the Shimmer pastel/chalks.
