Package-O-Peeps

This Peeps card was inspired from a picture I saw in a retired Amuse catalog and I just changed a few things, well I changed most things but I want to give credit where the inspiration came from.  You can't really see it in the photo but I put a piece of crystal clear window sheeting across the stamped peeps so it looked a little more like they were in a package.

Ink: Saffron, French Roast
Paper: Saffron, Cocoa, Sugar, Lemon Whip
Schtuff: Doilies, French Roast Twine, Crystal Clear Window Sheet, Tombow Marker

Gingham Easter Basket

Have I mentioned how much I love our gingham card stock, well okay maybe I have a fewww times :o).  I made the little pink bow with our crepe paper which BTW I'm loving that too.  What's neat is you can make pretty much any size bow you want just by cutting the width you want, loosely fan folding it then twisting it in the middle and wrapping a little strip of paper around the center.  Oh and trimming the ends a little once it's put together.  I'll be posting a couple other crepe paper projects from my "Crazy for Crepe Paper" class last week keep checking back for new posts.
Stamps: Snail & Co., For Peeps Sake,
Ink: Grass, Memento Cocoa
Paper: Pink Gingham, Sage, Blush, Shimmer Sugar, Sugar

Hill of Three Crosses

Here's another  "Halloccasions" card using a stamp from the "Spooky Boo Day" set to make the Easter Crosses.  We have LOTS of adorable Easter products to choose from but none for religious projects so once again I put on my "Halloccasions" hat and came up with this Hill of Three Crosses Easter card.   (Halloccasions are cards I've made with Halloween stamp sets for occasions other than Halloween)
Stamps:  SPooky Boo Day, For Peeps Sake

Hello Spring

We made this card at my "Hop into Spring" workshop last week.  It's a regular A2 card with just 2 inches cut off from the front right side.  I cut a separate piece of onyx card stock 2x5.5,  stamped the leaves, glued on a piece of 2x2 bubblegum at the bottom and added a little strip of our new patterned paper & flower then glued the whole panel to the "inside" right side of the card.  For the "hello" on the front I carefully added glue to just the first three letters only and glued it to the front lime flap.  I love pink & green together and I think our Lime & Bubblegum are just the perfect match :o) hope you likey the limey...I'm a dork!
Stamps: Beautiful Botanicals
Ink: Lichen
Paper: Bubblegum, Lime, Onyx, Sugar, Everything's Rosey Patterned Paper
Dies: Hello, Tiny Flowers
Schtuff: Onyx Twinkle

He is Risen

Unfortunately there is only one (yep one) religious Easter stamp in our catalog so I had to get creative and came up with this card.  I do wish we had at least a couple other options to choose from but maybe the next catalog will have some more.  In the meantime I do like the simplicity of this one and hope you do too.
Stamps: Mad for Plaid, Grunged Sunrays, Essential Sentiments
Ink: Saffron, French Roast

I LOVE that we have our gingham card stock back and coupled with our new bunny dies well it just can't get much cuter!  Gingham bunnies = total cuteness!  And of course my little cotton tails are holding the new "happy" thin die banner too! So many cute Easter toys in the new Spring accessories guide!

Spring Chickie Holiday Tag

I was just playing around and came up with this little spring chick "tag".  I cut the tag from the rounded Holiday Tag die which also creates a hole at the top so I just punched a second hole and backed it with black card stock for his eyes.  I used the tiny Flowers die (so many neat uses for that die!) for his feathers and his chickie feets.  Hand cut his beak and hand doodled around the edges.  Oh yeah and sponged on a little orange around the edges too.  He makes me smile :o).
Ink: Orange
Paper: Papaya, Orange, Onyx
Dies: tiny Flowers, Holiday Tags
Schtuff: Copic Multiliner, sponge

Spring Country Chickens

I love it when a project turns out exactly how I envisioned it in my head! I couldn't wait to get my hands on the new Amuse Studio basket die and as soon as I cut out the first basket and saw the left over piece (from inside the handle) it instantly spoke "hen" to me! It took me about 2 seconds more to realize the new tiny flowers die was absolutely perfect scale for the head feathers, waddle and beak and of course the blue flower for the basket too...it was all just meant to be! Eeeee I had so much fun using all our new items from the Spring Accessories Guide creating my country chickens & basket, I hope you like it and I hope you have fun with them too.

If you'd like the super easy dimensions for the basket "box" just leave me a comment or send me an email.
Don't forget to share my Spring Country Hens on Facebook & Pinterest too :o)!

Ink: Cocoa, Memento Cocoa, Lemon Whip
